How I hacked Online Dating
Online dating utilizes modern technology to bring people together.
We’ve all heard the success stories and for those in search of “The One,” online dating almost seems too good to be true.
But with all the time and effort that goes into creating a profile, why are you still matched with people you’re not attracted to or not compatible with?
One important factor is the use of optimistic language. Using words like “fun,” “girl,” and “love” can make you seem friendlier. Don’t view this as a way to dumb down your profile; this sort of word choice makes you more approachable.
Timing is something else to consider
Computers, cell phones, and other modern conveniences give us access to the Internet 24 hours a day. But that doesn’t mean you should contact a potential match at 2 o’clock in the morning. Average time between communications from popular profiles is 23 hours.
Of course, your profile photo is arguably the most important element. Women who showed some skin and looked good in their pictures had the most popular profiles.
Creating a strong online profile doesn’t mean you have to change who you are. But small tweaks in the way you present yourself could lead you to falling in love with the person you’ve always dreamed of.
